The Lady Panthers traveled to South Fort Myers Oct. 2 for the final game of the regular season. The team was looking to tame the Wolf Pack.
The performance by the Lady Panthers volleyball team was lights out, winning the first set by a dominant 10 points, 25-15. The second set was even stronger than the first, and a spotlight must be shown on freshmen Exa Zavoico and Avery Gulotta who both served and spiked like four-year varsity players. Zavoico and Gulotta are surely the future of the Lady Panthers. South Fort Myers managed a win in the third set, but were quickly reminded of Cypress Lake’s dominance in the fourth and final set that ended the game 3-1 Panthers.
As the regular season closes the Panthers are preparing for the start of the LCAC tournament, where Cypress will seek to repeat their win over South Fort Myers on Monday, Oct. 7.
