Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye) – Role Model
Released on Valentine’s Day, the deluxe version of Role Model’s sophomore album Kansas Anymore features an additional 4 songs. This album follows Role Model’s inner conflict through his breakup with popular social media influencer Emma Chamberlain. Many songs on this album have gained traction on TikTok and inspired many trends with songs including “Sally,” “When the Wine Runs Out” and “Frances,” growing Role Model’s fanbase greatly.
$$$4U – Drake and PartyNextDoor
Popular rap/R&B artists Drake and PartyNextDoor released this collaborative album on Valentine’s Day as well, however it received mixed reviews. This album was highly anticipated, with both fan bases having much overlap and finding each artist’s individual music to be very good. Despite this, many fans were left underwhelmed expressing that they had higher hopes for the album’s contents. Despite the explicit nature of the songs within the album and the mixed reviews of this collaboration, some songs such as “NOKIA” are becoming increasingly popular and receiving immense praise.
Short N’ Sweet (Deluxe) – Sabrina Carpenter
With her album being so well received Sabrina Carpenter released her deluxe version of Short N’ Sweet on Valentine’s Day. Although for the most part fans enjoyed the five new songs including fan favorites such as “Busy Woman”, fans have shown mixed feelings about the “Please Please Please” remix featuring Dolly Parton. While this is a huge step in Carpenter’s career, fans felt as though the two singers’ voices did not blend well, and wished that Parton was featured on “Slim Pickins” instead.
Anxiety – Doechii
An old bedroom recording of rapper Doechii surfaced the internet recently and has fans going crazy. Including a dance from the popular 90’s show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Tiktok users have blown up the sound, reaching Doechii’s attention. Many users took to comment sections begging Doechii to release this song. On March 5 2025, the song was released on all streaming platforms.
